YOUR CHOICES
Essential first. Analytics by choice.
Essential WordPress and security functions support website operation. Google Analytics is optional: it and Google Tag Manager load only after you accept analytics. Rejecting optional analytics leaves the website and contact form available. Advertising tags, remarketing and advertising personalisation are not enabled.
Remembering your choice
The essential mp_consent_v1 cookie remembers your analytics choice and policy version for up to 180 days. You can reopen Cookie preferences in the footer and change or withdraw the choice.
Optional Google Analytics cookies
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics can set first-party cookies to distinguish visits and sessions for up to 180 days, refreshed during consented visits. This website uses the existing MaltaPerformance Analytics property. Cookie preferences lets you withdraw analytics and removes the analytics cookies used by this build. No advertising tags are activated by accepting analytics.
What is measured
Page views, service-page views, starting a form, errors and successful saved enquiries, and clicks on email or phone contact routes. A click is not a phone call, qualified lead or sale. A saved enquiry is counted only after a valid server receipt; repeated confirmation views in the same browser session are deduplicated. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, message text, enquiry identifiers or receipt tokens to Analytics. Measured page URLs exclude query strings.
Essential login and security
Signed-in administrators use WordPress authentication and session cookies. WordPress may use a login test cookie. Hosting and security systems process technical information needed to protect the site. The contact form uses security tokens, an anti-spam field and request limits; it does not load an external CAPTCHA.
Optional Google Maps
The map on Contact is off by default. Select Load Google Maps to connect to Google for that page; Google may use cookies or browser storage under its own policies. This choice is separate from Analytics and is not saved in a MaltaPerformance cookie. Hide map removes the embed. Reloading the page leaves it off again. You can always use the separate Google Maps link instead.
Your browser controls
You can review or remove cookies in your browser. Removing essential login cookies signs administrators out. Clearing your choice causes the website to ask again. Analytics remains off if JavaScript is unavailable. For privacy questions contact hello@maltaperformance.com.
